Find answers to common questions about SolHound - the community-driven platform for discovering and evaluating Solana tokens.
SolHound is a community-driven platform with one goal: push the meme-coin space towards a community driven ecosystem. The platform aims to be a place where users can discover, submit, and promote the best Solana tokens. We help you find quality tokens early through transparent community evaluation and on chain metrics to eliminate as much risk as possible.
While there is no official launch date yet, you can contribute to accelerate the development process by joining our community discord and providing feedback on what you would like to see on our platform. We strive to make this project something people will be excited about and we would love for you to be a part of it!
While preventing malicious intent is impossible, we do our best to only allow tokens who fit our safety metrics. We analyze on-chain data to validate mint authority status, freeze authority status, LP token security, bundling activity. If a token does not meet our safety metrics, it can either not be submitted, or will be removed as soon as it is detected. Dev wallets are also monitored and will be marked as unsafe if we deem so.
Users can upvote tokens they believe have potential. There is no limit to the number of tokens one can upvote, but users can only vote for each token once. Tokens compete to gain the most upvotes daily, weekly, and monthly. The top 3 tokens of a specific time period will be granted a badge and promotion on the website and SolHound X account. This community-driven approach helps filter quality projects from scams and rug pulls.
Once your account is declared eligible, token submission is as simple as providing basic information like contract address, name, ticker, description, website, and social links. Make sure to include accurate information to help the community evaluate the token properly. Once submitted, your token will be published to the platform on the next scheduled submission release.
You will either need to have signed up through the waitlist as an early adopter, or pay a one time developer fee. This fee is present to gatekeep the number of accounts submitting tokens to the platform, which wil help filter out scams and low quality projects.
